Marshall Grinds It Out, Beats Kent State 21-0


Huntington, WV – Marshall football had a “grind-it-out” affair with old MAC foe the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday September 16, 2017.

And while the game wasn’t full of wild highlights and dramatic scoring swings…it did provide highlights.  Here’s a selection of our best photos from the 21-0 Marshall win over Kent State, which propelled The Herd to a 2-1 record thus far in 2017. Tyre Brady juggled one of his 9 receptions against Kent State, good for 71 yards on the

Marcel Williams (9) lead all Marshall receivers with 8 catches for 79 yards and one touchdown.

Kent State’s Kavious Price (10) closed in on Williams.
